Celbridge GAA Notes
April 15, 2014The senior hurlers who beat Leixlip 1-12 to 1-07 on Sunday evening are in action at home tonight @8.15pm v Maynooth. The senior footballers beat Naas last Saturday 1-12 to 1-09 and travel to play Round Towers next Saturday @6.30pm. The senior camogie team had a one point victory over St. Laurences to maintain their unbeaten start to 2014. The senior ladies footballers are at home tonight v Sallins @7pm.
Nets
Work will commence on repairing the nets behind the goals on the main pitch, replacing the nets on the training pitch and replacing the top net on the third pitch, on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
Easter Camp
The Easter football, hurling and camogie camp continues all this week in the club with over 100 children taking part. Anybody with time on their hands to help out is more than welcome to do so, it's on between 10am and 2pm daily so with the weather being so good there are no excuses.
Tuesday
Please note that the three pitches and dressing rooms plus meeting room will be in use on Tuesday evening 22nd of April with two senior football matches and a U14 camogie match so space will be at a premium
Table Quiz
Many thanks to all who supported the hurling Table Quiz last Friday night, it was an extremely successful evening.
Kildare Race Day
The club will be joining Kildare GAA in a mutual fundraising Day at the Races. The Race Day is fixed for Saturday the 17th May in Punchestown. The proceeds from the Race Day will be split 50/50 between the participating clubs and the County Board. Please watch out for further info in the coming days.
