Sarsfields ladies continue good form

Sarsfields Ladies continued their impressive start to the 2014 campaign with a high scoring performance over a committed Kilcock side at Sarsfields park.

Sarsfields opened with a brace of points from Noelle Earley. Kilcock steadied and took the lead through a close range goal. The Sarsfields girls then hit their stride, scoring an impressive 3.10 before the break, powered by an impressive defence featuring Gemma Hartnett and Cliodhna Ní Ghoghain. The midfielders of Karla O Reilly and Ciara Morris were tireless in their efforts, while upfront Eimear Dempsey, Roisin Byrne and Noelle Earley each scored 1.03 apiece.

Sarsfields were relentless in the second half with goals from Roisin Dempsey and an impressive Molly Price, added to with points from Anna Lawless, Emily Aulsberry, Laura Scales. To their credit Kilcock kept attacking and added 3 second half points. Sarsfields completed the scoring through Rachel Doyle. Tougher challenges lie ahead.

There were great performances all over the field, in which all 24 players played their part.
