The hoganstand.com football team of the week
There was no shortage of outstanding individual displays in the final group games of the Allianz Football Leagues.

1. Rory Beggan (Monaghan)

Beggan helped keep Galway at bay as Malachy O'Rourke's charges warmed up for a Division 2 final against Donegal with a nervous one-point victory on home soil.

2. Tom Cunniffe (Mayo)

Cunniffe and Mayo got the better of an understrength Derry side to secure a semi-final spot and a rematch with the Oak Leaf County.

3. Kevin Reilly (Meath)

The Royal County captain enjoyed a ding-dong tussle with Shane Lennon as Meath rounded off their league campaign with a fourth win against their next door neighbours Louth in Drogheda.

4. Philly McMahon (Dublin)

The Dublin corner-back can be pleased with his contribution to keeping the Tyrone attack in check and he also popped up at the other end of the field to score a point.

5. David Keenan (Roscommon)

Keenan put in another impressive shift for promoted Roscommon as they got over the challenge of Connacht rivals Sligo in Division 3.

6. Gary O'Donnell (Galway)

Manager Alan Mulholland sang the praises of O'Donnell following Galway's narrow defeat to Monaghan and he has helped steady the ship at the back.

7. Damian Cahalane (Cork)

Cahalane was very much to the fore as Cork scored a surprisingly comfortable victory over arch rivals Kerry in Austin Stack Park.

8. John O'Loughlin (Laois)

The O'Moore County midfielder notched 1-2 as Tomas O Flatharta's outfit avoided relegation with a three-point defeat of Down.

9. Emmett McGuckin (Derry)

A weakened Derry side finished on the wrong end of the scoreline against Mayo but it was no fault of McGuckin who produced an impressive showing that incorporated 1-1.

10. Paul Kerrigan (Cork)

The all-action Rebel County attacker created plenty of headaches for the Kerry rearguard and finished the Tralee contest with 1-3 to his name.

11. Diarmuid Connolly (Dublin)

Another in a long list of magic moments from the St Vincent's clubman in Omagh sent the holders into the semi-final stages of Division 1.

12. Ryan Jones (Fermanagh)

Jones hit 2-4 (2-2 from play) as Fermanagh brought the curtain down on their Division 3 campaign with a hard-earned draw against Offaly.

13. Niall Kelly (Kildare)

Kelly caught the eye on his return to the Kildare starting line-up and sent over five points against Westmeath.

14. Alan Freeman (Mayo)

Derry failed to get to grips with Freeman and he made Brian McIver's side pay with 2-6.

15. Brian Hurley (Cork)

Hurley enhanced his growing reputation with seven points from play against Kerry in Austin Stack Park.
