Corofin's Liam Silke and Kieran Molloy will be unable to partake in Saturday's Sigerson Cup final due to their club's All-Ireland semi-final date with Moorefield taking place on the same afternoon.
Silke helped UCD come through an extra time thriller against UUJ last night in Inniskeen, where Con O'Callaghan's 88th minute free secured a third successive final place for the Dublin students.
In Mullingar, Molloy and his NUIG team mates qualified for the Galway college's first decider since 2003 after downing DIT by 2-12 to 0-15 at a rain-soaked St Loman's Park.
Both sides meet in Santry on Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm, while Corofin meet the Leinster champions an hour-and-a-half earlier at O'Connor Park in Tullamore.
TweetKieran Molloy and Liam Silke will miss the Sigeron Cup final because they play Moorfield in the club semi final on Saturday. THREE important competitions overlapping with matches fixed for the same day. Beyond belief
