Moorefield manager Ross Glavin is pleased with the side's preparations ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland club SFC semi-final against Corofin.

Glavin has guided his native club to the penultimate stage of the All-Ireland club championship in his first season in charge and he is confident that if they play to their potential, they will reach the final.

The Kildare champions showed great spirit during their Leinster final win over St Loman's as they were five points down in injury time before coming back and winning by the minimun.

And Glavin is counting on that spirit to shine through once again this weekend as they face a highly fancied Corofin side.

"Preparations are going well; it's been a long haul since the Leinster final; followed by Christmas and then back into it; lads arrive back at the start of January full of enthusiasm and then within a few weeks you are nearly half way there," said Glavin.

"Only last week I felt we had one of the best sessions we had for a while; some nights are better than others but overall I have to say I am really satisfied the way things have gone since the Leinster final.

"The atmosphere is excellent and you can see the improvement with every session; and it's not just the first fifteen or twenty but the entire panel."
