Next Saturday's Walsh Cup opener between Kildare and Laois has been switched to the Kildare Centre of Excellence in Hawkfield.

The game had originally been scheduled for St Conelth's Park, Newbridge but Leinster Council last night confirmed the change in venue.

Throw-in time for the game will be at 2pm as originally scheduled.
