Eight of the 16 senior clubs in Kildare will have new managers for the coming year.

Sarsfields, Castledermot, Clane, Confey, Leixlip, Maynooth, St Laurence's and Raheens all have appointed new managers for the 2018 campaign.

Paul Doyle returns to manage Sarsfields having been in charge of the side in the past; Damien Hendy has been handed the reins of his native club Castledermot, while Michael Culhane is the new manager of Clane.

Confey have replaced Davy Byrne with Fergal Foran and Maynooth have appointed clubman Karl Ennis to lead them next year.

Former Carlow footballer Brian Kelly will guide St Laurence's next year; Raheens have turned to Noel Mooney to manage them for their first year back in the senior ranks and finally Eoin Dunne will manage Leixlip.
