Kerry 2011
Patkerry, without doubt theres holes to be filled and you've rightly pointed them out, but 7 of the 8 (Scalon ok) players that definitely make the grade are top drawer players that form the spine of the team. Thats a massive platform to build from.
Cork have shown that you dont need the best players in every position to win, just a good mix, if we had say another 3 or 4 good lads we'd be right back in it. Sure the only team better than the team we have at the moment in the last few years is our own previous teams (and Tyrone on occasions). Theres nothing to frighten us out there at the moment.

Football in 2030.
Colm Cooper will probably get his chance to manage before then.

I hate to say it,but, the Kerry team may have to be overhauled, and rebuilt from the ground up!
No need to worry Kerry will be back.

Kerry 2011
I think the team won't change that much but we'll need tommy back....so if we had him back we would have a good team for next year but badly need few backs...we never will have players like the o'sé again but we still have good players...
so this would be a bit of my team...There is still serious questions for next year...

I'm not jioking now but Is
donnacha walsh,
padraig reidy,
anthony maher,
david moran,
bryan sheehan(Bar free taking),
brenadan kealy,
bohane,
probably darren o'sullivan who kept on running into players in the down game
and aidan o'mahony (is he wasting his time coming back)

are they actually good enough....they'd wanna start showing it then..

if i had to pick my team right now i could only have 8 definite starters on it...

will BJ keane be mature enough nxt year to start??

how about johnny buckley??

what about the two legion lads are they good defenders or just panel players??....

tooo many questions and so few answers...would u play galvin in the backs??...

wouldnt it be great if tommy walsh was back!!!...

1.???
2.???
3.M o'sé
4.Young
5.???
6.???
7.T o'sé
8.Scanlon
9.????
10.????
11.O'Sullivan
12.Galvin
13.Gooch
14.Donaghy
15.????

Kerry Excuses
Jack L-Mick Dwyer is not the only manager to lead Kerry to victory over an Ulster team in Croke park. You are way off on that statement mate. In 1970 Kerry beat Derry in the semi final, 2006 beat Armah in quarter final, recently beat Derry and I believe, Antrim in the 50's and Monaghan way back also. Those are a few off the top of my head, and Dwyer did not manage any of those sides.

Spillane will be munching his gums and bleating about puke football while Jack O'Connor makes his 10th comeback to see if Kerry can get revenge on Tyrone who beat them last year for the 15th time in a row. Galvin junior says he was unfairly sent off at the weekend for manning a baracade with an Alsation on the half back line. After a recent fact finding mission to North Korea the Dublin media call for Kingdomism to made the official religion of Ireland and statues of the Gooch and Jacko to be positioned in every classroom.

Kerry football is still in mental turmoil about Tyrone and it is quite amusing to observe. It doesn't matter if they do beat an ageing Tyrone this year because they couldn't do it when both squads were in their prime. Down did it to Kerry in the 60's and all they did was moan, whinge and yap then. Tyrone have done it in the noughties and still nothing ever changes. WAAHHHHHHHHHHH! The Ulster men have the measure of them.

Great result because it puts even more doubt in Kerry especially Jack O'Connor. Now when is that "How we taught them a lesson AND showed them how to play the game correctly when the great Nordie Tyrone team beat Kerry in the last minute" video coming out? You know what these nouveau riche ones are like Jack, don't ya?

Very true joey, the only Kerry ones at Croker are usually Dublin ones working there. They are mainly glory hunters who come crawling out of the woodwork for their All Ireland Tyrone beating

You have alot of answering to do....

and whats the 'WE'..business...last time I checked you were from ANTRIM, sad to clinging to others for success.

Ulsterman, do you ever answer people on this. You really are jealous of our success. Antrim can only dream ;) Were you in Tullamore at the weekend?

Hopefully, we LUV the look on Jack's face up here when Ulster sides beat you. His book didn't win him many friends in Ulster so Down's victory was very sweet for many of us. Jack should give it up now, his fixation with Ulster will have him bouncing off the walls of a padded cell.

Making the minor team is not guarantee, or requirement, when it come to senior playing senior football. Most county minor players never mature to senior standard. Some players don not make the minors because of height or strength but become late bloomers. This year's minors were relatively small but hopefully one or two may yet fill the senior mold.
