With Kerry county board failing to organise a homecoming for their All-Ireland winning minor footballers on Monday night, Kenmare have arranged one for tonight.

There was some unhappiness at the decision not to have a homecoming, with Kerry instead deciding to recognise the minors win by introducing them to the crowd during a double header of club championship games on October 2.

Kenmare Shamrocks, the club of minor captain Sean O'Shea, have stepped into the breach and will have a homecoming in the Town Square tonight (Tuesday) at 8pm.
