There was no official homecoming for the All-Ireland minor winning Kerry footballers and people are wondering why.
It is the norm for Tom Markham winning teams to be officially welcomed back into the county but the three-in-a-row winning Kingdom team did not get a reception this evening.
Kerry supporters did not have the opportunity to congratulate their players, although an event at a club championship game has been proposed at this point.
The 2014 and 2015 All-Ireland winning minor sides both received receptions, although on both of those years the senior team was also in the All-Ireland final.
@Kerry_Official want us to pay in to congratulate the Minors instead of having a homecoming tonight #cutehoors #GAA https://t.co/U6nLKngWjo
