Sheehan poised to lead Kingdom

Bryan Sheehan looks set to be named the new Kerry senior football captain for 2016.
Sheehan led South Kerry to the county title last Sunday and he is odds on to be given the nod to lead out Kerry next year.
South Kerry have two players on the Kerry squad with Sheehan and Killian Young, but the captaincy is usually chosen from the winners of South Kerry championship when the divisional side are crowned county champions.
Favourites for that are Sheehan's native club St Mary's who are bidding for Munster club IFC glory this weekend also.
It looks a straight pick between Sheehan and Young and the St Mary's man is the early favourite to take the prestigious role.
