Paul Galvin has admitted that he is "unlikely" to play for Kerry again.

The former Footballer of the Year came out of retirement last March, but was left frustrated after being limited to a handful of substitute appearances, the last of which came in the All-Ireland final defeat to Dublin.

Galvin recently launched his own menswear brand with Dunnes Stores and admits that's now his priority.

"I'd have to speak to Eamonn (Fitzmaurice) really. I think it would be unfair now to be getting into stuff like that without speaking to the manager,"he said on Newstalk's Off The Ball before adding: "It would be unlikely from a work point of view to be quite honest. I've two collections on the shelves next year. Considering that, that is a priority."

Explaining his decision to end his 13-month inter-county retirement, Galvin said: "I felt I could still do it. I just felt really hungry. I went to Santry and I got myself checked out physically and I actually discovered new training techniques that completely changed my body physically. It gave me a whole new lease of life."
