James O'Donoghue says it was a case of mission accomplished for Kerry.
Speaking to RTE after the Kingdom's four-point over Tyrone, the Footballer of the Year stated: "We came up here to do a job. We knew a lot of it probably wouldn't be pretty. The Kerry crowd were absolutely fantastic and they dragged us through. Can't wait to be back in an All-Ireland final.
"It was always going to be an unbelievable battle; just to tip on our scores and keep the momentum going. We did a good job at that. We're getting good at that; grinding out results and wins and to be back here in September - can't wait."
On facing either Dublin or Mayo in the final of September 20, O'Donoghue made his intentions clear.
"We're champions. We're coming back to Croke Park in a final to retain our trophy."
