Current minor boss Jack O'Connor is expected to be appointed Kerry U21 football manager for 2016 at a county board tonight.

The Irish Examiner is reporting that the Dromid man will return to the role he previously held in the late 1990s after the Kerry minors' involvement in this year's championship comes to an end.

O'Connor, who will take over from Darragh O Se, has won All-Ireland senior, U21 and minor titles as a manager. After leading the Kingdom to their first Tom Markham Cup success in 20 years last September, he should have a strong U21 outfit at his disposal next year.
