Stephen Wallace was a happy man after Kerry's Munster JFC semi-final victory over Tipperary.
The Kingdom boss points out that the Premier County posed a very real threat to his team at Thurles on Sunday:
"That was a good Tipperary team that we came up against. There was nine of that team on the U21 panel that got to the All-Ireland final," he points out in The Kerryman.
"There were a lot of players on that [Kerry] team who lost to Tipperary at minor and U21 level, so it was good for them to experience a victory like this. I thought the goal after half time for Tipp served as a good wake-up call for us to push on in the second half.
"Thankfully now we have a bit of time before the Munster final to do some more work with the players."
