Kerry have received a timely boost ahead of the Munster SFC with the return to fitness of James O'Donoghue.
Following a long lay-off that saw O'Donoghue out of action since last year's All-Ireland SFC final, the Legion forward lined out for his club in their senior club championship win over Kerins O'Rahillys.
O'Donoghue played for 30 minutes and during that time kicked four points, three from play as Legion record a win by the narrowest of margins, 1-14 to 1-13.
Meanwhile, Aidan O'Mahony played down concerns over an ankle injury sustained in Kerry training when he played a starring role in Rathmore's win over Milltown/Castlemaine.
