The injuries are mounting for Kerry ahead of their Division One meeting with Monaghan this weekend.

A win in Tralee on Sunday would almost guarantee the hosts a place in the league semi-finals but manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice is sweating over the availability of a number of key players.

Paul Geaney missed Dingle's league match at the weekend due to a shoulder problem and is rated doubtful, while Jack Sherwood will also be assessed after tweaking his hamstring.

Bryan Sheehan hasn't been training after sustaining a muscle injury in the win over Donegal and Donnchadh Walsh (groin), Aidan O'Mahony (ankle) and James O'Donoghue (shoulder) are all out.

Neither Colm Cooper nor Paul Galvin will be ready to return as they both sat out their respective clubs' matches at the weekend.
