We've arrived in the month of March and the National football league continued this afternoon.

Last night saw the return of the league following a three-week break and the remaining teams were in action this afternoon.

The completion of round three will see each division take a more clear shape and teams will have more of an idea as to whether they are to be contending for promotion or relegation.

The games last night were played in horrendous conditions, and this afternoon saw Roscommon v. Meath and Galway v. Laois fall foul  of the weather, so the standard of the games could have been affected once again.
