Kerry U21 selector Seamus Moynihan is pleased with how the Kingdom's Hastings Cup campaign is panning out.

Darragh O Se's charges completed their Group Three campaign with a sixteen-point drubbing of Meath last weekend and will face Monaghan in a Shield semi-final this Saturday:

"Any time we come across Meath there is always a competitive edge to the game and in fairness Meath had nothing to play for, but it was a great game and we were delighted with it," Moynihan told The Kerryman.

"It was a good, tough, physical workout. On the 17th of January, where would you get it, so we are happy with it.

"We have an opportunity again now to play next weekend and it's all about just getting games and getting an opportunity to look at players."
