Manager Jimmy Keane says last weekend's Munster semi-final win over Millstreet was massive for Brosna.

After their 1-10 to 0-8 victory, the Kerry champions are now through to the Munster junior club football championship final.

"It's the biggest day in the history of Brosna GAA," Keane told The Kerryman following the defeat of the Cork champions.

"We never in our dreams imagined we'd get this far. We won this 25 years ago this year and unfortunately that time it stopped in Kerry.

"When we realised that if we did win Kerry we'd have the facilities to host and have a big crowd, it's a real reward for all the people down through the years who put in trojan work into this club.

"There's a lot of proud Brosna people watching here today."
