Mid Kerry captain Fergal Griffin is braced for a tough hour against Austin Stacks on Sunday.
Winner of a SFC medal with the divisional side in 2008, Griffin knows it won't be easy in the 2014 decider as he bids to add his second county souvenir.
"We did it back in 2008 and really raised the spirits of the whole area," he notes in The Kerryman. "But we have a very tough 60 minutes ahead of us.
"There is a long way to go before we can think about winning it again.
"The appetite is still there. Obviously we lost a final in 2011 to Dr Crokes. Maybe if a couple of decisions had gone for us and we hadn't conceded a couple of soft goals, then who knows what might have happened."
