Sheehan boost for Kingdom

Kerry's Bryan Sheehan is set to be fit for the county's All-Ireland SFC semi final against Mayo.

Sheehan was forced off the field after just five minutes of the quarterfinal clash against Galway at Croke Park last Sunday afternoon.

The St Mary's clubman pulled his hip flexor muscle when stretching for a ball and he had to be replaced immediately as David Moran was introduced.

However, Sheehan did not tear the muscle and it is only a slight strain meaning that he will be available for the semi final in a few weeks time.

Meanwhile, Stephen O'Brien is expected to return to training this week as he recovers from a quad muscle injury sustained in training last week.
