Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice believes that they will have to be on their guard against Galway in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarterfinal.

The Kingdom are raging hot favourites to see off the Tribesmen and book their place in yet another All-Ireland semi-final when the sides clash at the weekend.

However, Fitzmaurice is certainly taking nothing for granted as he is convinced that Galway will come into the game full of confidence.

"There's a great tradition in Galway, you know they play good, attacking football. After winning against Tipperary they have good momentum coming into this game and a bit of belief," Fitzmaurice told the Kerryman.

"Last year in the last qualifier game they played Cork in Croke Park and ran them really close in that game. I don't think Galway will fear playing Kerry up in Croke Park."
