Mulholland and Galway have momentum on their side

The eight-day turnaround isn't a concern for Galway manager Alan Mulholland ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Kerry.

The Tribesmen's boss believes last weekend's qualifier win over Tipperary gives them much-needed momentum going into the Kingdom clash.

"It is entirely different going into this one on the back of a victory rather than, say, dealing with a match the week after losing a Connacht final," he outlined to the Examiner.

"We would like to think we have some momentum following the win and the lads can't wait to get back out on the pitch. They really looking forward to Croke Park.

"We felt we had a lot of room for improvement after the Connacht final and we also believe we can do a lot better than we did against Tipp.

"The key thing now is to go out in Croke Park and do just that."

Centre-back Gary O'Donnell (shoulder) is Mulholland's sole injury concern ahead of the last eight game.
