Kerry forward James O'Donoghue is adamant that no matter who leaves the squad, they can be replaced.

A lot has been made of the fact that this is a Kerry team going through a transitional period following the retirements of Tomas O'Se, Eoin Brosnan and Paul Galvin at the end of last year. Throw in the fact that Colm Cooper is out of action through injury for the year and many had Kerry's chances of winning even the Munster final written off.

However, they produced one of the greatest performances of any Kerry team to defeat Cork in the provincial decider at Pairc Ui Chaoimh last Sunday.

And O'Donoghue, who kicked ten points during the win stressed to the Kerryman that no matter who retires or is injured, there are always players to come in and step up to the plate.

"There's always new players coming in on Kerry, yes we lost some players, but we've some great players coming through as well as it showed," said O'Donoghue.
