Meyler: Cork test will aid us

Kerry hurling manager John Meyler
Kerry hurling manager John Meyler is looking forward to his side's clash against Cork on Sunday.
The Kingdom face off against Cork in the Waterford Crystal Cup quarterfinal and although the Rebels will be expected to win this one comfortably, Meyler is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
Kerry begin their league campaign against Westmeath and Meyler feels that the Cork game will give them a good hint as to where they are at.
"It's an indication of where you are. It's an indication at the start of February of where you are. It's important to play these teams now and again because you do get an indication of how much work you still have to do, so from that point of view, I'm delighted we're playing Cork," Meyler told the Kerryman.
"It's a good game to have. We're four weeks away from the Westmeath match. Westmeath were there looking at us. We were up watching Westmeath against Offaly and they looked very impressive against Offaly. It's going to be tough."
