The All Ireland Heineken Cup quarter-final between Munster and Ulster at Thomand Park has been fixed for the same time as the final round of the Allianz FL on 8 April.
With final round league games having to be played at the same time, all that weekend's fixtures have 2.30pm throw in times on the Sunday. The round 7 games in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 take place that day, although the Division 4 games are penultimate round fixtures.
The rugby game kicks off 45 minutes earlier and is sure to have a major impact on GAA attendances. Only yesterday it was confirmed that the Mayo-Dublin Allianz FL Division 1 game at Castlebar on 11 February had been
brought forward by 30 minutes to avoid a clash with the Ireland-France Six Nations match on the same evening.
To compound matters, four of the six Munster counties have home games on the day.
The last two All-Ireland champions Cork and Dublin are fixed to go head to head at Pairc Ui Chaoimh while Kerry host Mayo in Division 1. Tipperary welcome Offaly in Division 3 and in Division 4 Clare are at home to Kilkenny.
A number of Ulster counties also have home venue that day, with Donegal hosting Armagh, Tyrone playing Monaghan and Cavan up against Antrim.
