Rathmore are to appeal the red card that star player Aidan O'Mahony received in the East Kerry SFC semi final.

The county star was dismissed for an off the ball incident during the opening minutes of the semi final win over Currow and he is set to miss Sunday's O'Donoghue Cup final.

However, if his appeal is successful then O'Mahony will be free to line out for his club, who believe he has a good chance of getting off, having seen video footage of the incident. Tweet
