The death took place on October 25th of Leo Foley Jnr. Of Tobar Naofa and formerly of 62 John's Park, Tralee, after an illness that was bravely borne.
Born on October 10th. 1959 to parents Leo Snr and Agnes Foley, he had two brothers Tom and Noel and sisters Sheila and Helen.

Leo was educated in Moyderwell School and CBS Clounalour, Tralee. As a youth he played football with the school teams and Austin Stacks as a minor and after completing his education, started his working life as a barman in the Bridge Inn for a period of time.

He then moved to Dan Connor's premises in Rock Street and also worked in Billy Leen's in Castle Street, Tralee for a while.

Leo also liked working for himself as stallholder around the county and made many friends and acquaintances through his sales in the fairs and marts and the costumers he met in the licence trade.

He really enjoyed his lifestyle, but sadly became ill five years ago which he accpeted and fought bravely to overcome. He never complained to anyone during this time.
He is survived by his daughter Karen, son in-law Nicky, his two grandchildren Stephen and Jason, Helen O'Mahony and Georgina and Joyce, his heartbroken parents and brothers and sisters.

The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Kerry General Hospital and also the staff of St.Patricks Day Care Centre, Fr. Kieran O'Brien, Tony McElligott, neighbours and many friends during their sad time.

Removal took place on Wednesday from McElligott's Funeral Home to St. John's Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday with burial afterwards in New Rath Cemetery
