Mahony, Tim

The death has taken place on Monday last of Tim (Tice) Mahony of Rushy Park, Ballylongford. Tice as he was affectionately known was a very staunch member of the community whose untimely death has come as a great shock. Having spent his earlier years in Ameriica Tice and his wife Mary returned home many years ago to reside at Rushy Park. He was a dedicated follower of the GAA both locally and nationally. He played an active part in the Ballylongford Club and in the Lenamore Club where he served as a selector for many years before the club was disbanded. To his wife Mary, son Tim, daughters Catherine and Kerry, son in law Paul, daughter in law Heather, granddaughter Ciara, sister Brenda, brother Richard relatives and friends we express our sincerest sympathy.
