Former Kerry All-Ireland winning midfielder William Kirby has been appointed manager of Glenbeigh/Glencar.
The Austin Stacks clubman, who won All-Ireland medals in 1997 and 2004, takes charge of the current Mid Kerry senior football champions and the 2017 All-Ireland junior club winners. Darran O'Sullivan's recent inter-county retirement means he will be able to give Glenbeigh/Glencar his undivided attention next season, which can only be a help to the new manager.
TweetWe are delighted to announce the appointment of former Austin Stacks Kerry player William Kirby as senior team trainer for 2019. We would like to wish William & the team the very best of luck 🔴⚫️
