Hosts Dr Crokes showed no mercy to St Finbarr’s in today’s Munster SFC semi-final encounter.

The Killarney side coasted to a 5-20 to 1-11 victory over their Cork opponents and now switch their focus to a final date with Clare’s Miltown-Malbay who overcame The Nire of Waterford by 2-11 to 0-9 in today's other last four clash.

Remarkably, all of the winner’s scores came from open play and they stamped their authority on proceedings early on when racing into a 0-6 to 0-1 lead by the end of the opening quarter.

St Finbarr’s were given some hope when Eoin McGreevey found the back of the Crokes net but normal service was soon restored when goals from ‘man-of-the-match’ Johnny Buckley and Daithi Casey parachuted Pat O’Shea’s charges into an unassailable 2-11 to 1-3 interval lead.

The winners refused to ease their foot off the pedal after the resumption and further goals from David Shaw, Michael Burns and Jordan Kiely applied the gloss to what was a ruthless performance.

Colm Cooper came off the bench and contributed three points to his team’s final tally.
