Dingle and Kerins O'Rahillys booked their Kerry SFC semi-final places with wins over Austin Stacks and St Brendan's respectively at Austin Stack Park this evening.
With Geelong's Mark O'Connor a surprise inclusion in their starting line-up and tasked with playing in front of Kieran Donaghy as a sweeper, Dingle cruised to a 3-9 to 0-9 victory over 2014 champions Austin Stacks thanks to a brace of first half goals from Paul Geaney and another from Matthew Flaherty. Those majors helped the winners to a 3-4 to 0-3 interval lead and they won pulling up, despite losing their AFL player to a black card in the 45th minute, which led to some unsavoury scenes.
In the other quarter-final, Kerins O'Rahillys also scored three first half goals through David Moran, Tom Hoare - who was an early replacement for Cian Sayers - and Tommy Walsh as they edged out St Brendan's by 3-11 to 1-15.
The divisional side were nine points down, 3-3 to 0-3, before a 24th minute Niall Sheehy goal left five between the sides at half-time, 3-7 to 1-8.
St Brendan's had reduced the deficit to the minimum before Cormac Coffey kicked the insurance point for the relieved Tralee outfit in injury-time.
