The Super 8s finally lived up to their billing this afternoon.

Galway edged a thrilling contest with 14-man Kildare in Newbridge before Kerry came back from the dead to snatch a dramatic draw with Monaghan thanks to David Clifford's brilliant injury-time goal.

What a finish. Monaghan better individual performances and intensity but Maurice deegan was definitely swayed by home crowd in some of his decisions. Monaghan misses in 1st half and 3rd quarter cost them in end. #greatgame #super8s

How did Monaghan not see out that game? Kerry absolutely blessed to be still in the Championship. Two minutes away from beating Kerry and knocking them out of the Championship and taking their place in an All Ireland Semi Final. Great game all the same.
