Kerry boss Eamonn Fitzmaurice has made three changes all of which come in defence for Sunday's All-Ireland SFC Super 8s clash away to Monaghan.

Ronan Shanahan, Mark Griffin and Tom O'Sullivan all take their place in what is a completely different full-back line from the one that started the 1-13 to 1-10 defeat at the hands of Galway.

Killian Young, who faces a one-match suspension following his straight red at Croke Park last weekend, loses out in the defensive overhaul, along with Brian O Beaglaioch and Jason Foley.

O Beaglaioch is named on the bench but injury forces Foley out of the match-day 26 while there is still no return for Shane Enright following his recovery from ruptured ankle ligaments.

Fitzmaurice has opted to stick with the same midfield and forward-lines as the Kingdom travel to Clones in search of a much needed win to keep their hopes of an All-Ireland semi-final spot alive.

Kerry (All-Ireland SFC v Monaghan): Shane Murphy; Ronan Shanahan, Mark Griffin, Tom O'Sullivan; Paul Murphy, Peter Crowley, Gavin White; David Moran, Jack Barry; Kevin McCarthy, Sean O'Shea, Stephen O'Brien; David Clifford, Paul Geaney, James O'Donoghue.

Subs: Brian Kelly, Kieran Donaghy, Brian O Beaglaioch, Micheal Burns, Barry John Keane, Anthony Maher, Darran O'Sullivan, Donnchadh Walsh, Tadhg Morley, Fionn Fitzgerald, Gavin Crowley.
