A club game in Kerry was abandoned after just 20 minutes yesterday after a heavy collision between two players from the same team resulted in them sustaining serious injuries.
Finuge veteran Maurice Corridan suffered a broken tibia and ankle, while his team-mate Conor O'Keeffe also broke his tibia and sustained shoulder damage arising from the collision which took place during the Kerry junior 'premier' club championship clash with Na Gaeil. The sides were level on 0-4 apiece when the game had to be abandoned after the two players were removed to hospital by ambulance.
Unfortunately our Championship game vs Na Gaeil GAA Club had to be abandoned due to a serious double injury.
