Colm Cooper says he has no intentions of retiring from football after Dr Crokes' shock defeat to Nemo Rangers on Sunday.
The Kerry champions let their Munster crown slip from their grasp at Pairc Ui Rinn and speaking at a Cork IT bursary awards presentation yesterday their 34-year-old talisman was quick to dismiss speculation that he'd be hanging up his boots.
"I'm still enjoying it, it's still fun, I'm still in reasonable shape and I still get a kick out of it," Cooper told the Irish Examiner. "And I still get disappointed when we lose. All those emotions are still there."
He added: "I'm looking forward to next year and having tunnel vision with Crokes and competing for honours again. Though I'm looking forward to recharge in the break over Christmas, too."
