John Mullane sounded like one of those madcap South American soccer commentators as he brilliantly captured the drama from yesterday's Munster SHC quarter-final between Cork and Tipperary on RTÉ Radio 1.

Displaying the same passion as he did on the field for Waterford, the co-commentator could hardly contain himself as the teams served up a hurling classic. Poor Pauric Lodge couldn't get a word in!
