Waterford manager Derek McGrath has made a change to his backroom team for the coming year.

Coach Fintan O'Connor has vacated his position and he will be replaced by Roanmore's Philip Murphy.

Having managed his native club this year, Murphy makes the step up to county level where he will work alongside the current management team.

McGrath is still assembling his squad for the 2017 campaign where they will be hoping to push on and reach the All-Ireland SHC final.
