Ballybrown were no match for Patrickswell in today's Limerick SHC final at the Gaelic Grounds.

The Well joined Ahane at the top of the roll of honour when collecting their 19th title, and first since 2003, following their 1-26 to 1-7 victory over their fellow parishioners.

Played in front of an attendance of 4,953, Patrickwell retired with a 1-10 to 0-5 cushion at the halfway stage.

Kevin O'Brien netted the goal for the Gary Kirby coached outfit while Aaron Gillane and Diarmaid Byrnes hit 0-7 and 0-6 respectively.

Stephen Foster pulled a goal back for Ballybrown with nine minutes left on the clock but it's Patrickwell who advance to a Munster Club SHC semi-final date with Glen Rovers of Cork on November 5/6.
