Calry-St Joseph's 2-18
Coolera-Strandhill 0-4
Calry-St. Joseph's made light of Kevin Gilmartin's 49th minute dismissal as they cruised to a six--in-a-row of Sligo SHC titles at a rain-soaked Markievicz Park.
The midfielder was sent off after picking up a second yellow card, but it mattered little as the holders exerted complete control over opponents who failed to score in the second half.
Kevin Banks gave Coolera-Strandhill an early lead, but Michael Gilmartin's fifth-minute goal put Calry-St. Joseph's in the driving seat as they went on to lead by 1-5 to 0-4 at the break.
The floodgates opened after Michael O'Callaghan netted in the 38th minute as Calry-St. Joseph's coasted to a 20-point win.
