Longford managers reappointed

August 28, 2015

Longford may have a new senior football manager in Denis Connerton, but it's a case of 'as you were' regarding their senior hurling and underage football managements.

At last night's county board meeting, Westmeath man Ray Gavin was reappointed hurling manger for a second term. Frank McNamee was also rubber-stamped for another season in charge of the U21 footballers, with Ciaran Fox, Gareth Johnston and Karl Dermody continuing as his selectors.

And Clonguish's Tony Devlin has been given the green light to continue as minor manager after leading the O'Farrell County to a Leinster final appearance this summer.
