Hurling for Cancer Research participants practice at the Galway Races

Two-time National Hunt Jockey Davy Russell and former Kilkenny under 21 hurler turned amateur jockey James Dowling practicing for the Hurling for Cancer Research at the famous Galway Races.

Two-time National Hunt Jockey Davy Russell and former Kilkenny under 21 hurler turned amateur jockey James Dowling have been practicing for the Hurling for Cancer Research at the famous Galway Races.

Hurling for Cancer Research will take place on Tuesday, August 11th and a who's who of Irish sportspeople will be taking to the pitch at 6.30pm in Saint Conleth's Park, Kildare.

Tickets are €10 for adults and €15 for families. All money raised will go to the Irish Cancer Society.
