Tipperary have agreed to Waterford's request to hold two training sessions at Semple Stadium ahead of the Munster SHC final on July 12.

The Deise have already played an Allianz League final and a Munster semi-final at the Thurles venue this year, but this time they'll be facing Tipp in their own backyard.

"Waterford will do a couple of hurling sessions there," county board chairman Paddy Joe Ryan confirmed to the Irish Daily Star.

"The dates are up to the management to decide - even if we weren't playing Tipperary we'd be training there anyway."
