Congress has agreed to make Hawkeye a permanent fixture at Croke Park.

A massive 98% of delegates also gave the thumbs up to rolling the score detection system out to other major venues.

The passed motion 30 reads: 'A Referee or Umpire may seek and/or obtain clarification that a ball has gone between the posts for a point or outside the posts for a wide or 45/65m free from the Hawkeye Score Detection System to be operated for designated games played in Croke Park and at other venues approved by Central Council from time to time'.
