Brian Whelahan and Pat Flanagan are set to be ratified as Offaly's senior hurling and football managers respectively for 2015 at a special county board meeting tonight.

Whelahan will continue as senior hurling boss for a second year. Flanagan will succeed Emmett McDonnell as senior and U21 football manager, having previously managed Sligo and Westmeath.

Delegates are also expected to be updated on the other two managerial positions still to be filled - minor football and U21 hurling. It's not yet known if Paschal Kellaghan will commit to another year in charge of the minor footballers, while a successor to the late Dermot Hogan as U21 hurling boss still has to be found.
