The redevelopment work at London's GAA grounds, Ruislip is due to begin in the Autumn.

That is the opining of the Ruislip Development Committee, despite rumours to the contrary which suggest that the project may not get underway until early next year.

The planning application has yet to be validated and work cannot start until that is done, but it is hoped that can be cleared up in the next few weeks.

The London hurling and football finals have been pencilled in for the end of August and it is hoped that the work can start in the weeks after that.

The development committee has received grants from various sources, while they are well on the way to raising the £500,000 needed to release these grants.
