Robbie McCarthy regained the All-Ireland 60x30 handball title after defeating holder Eoin Kennedy in Abbeylara, Co. Longford yesterday.
The Mullingar man was dominant throughout in seeing off the nine-time champion from Dublin 21-7, 21-3.
It's McCarthy's fourth All-Ireland at 60x30 title, having prevously won three in-a-row between 2011 and 2013. Veteran Kennedy upset the odds with a tiebreak victory over his younger opponent in last year's final, but McCarthy wasn't to be denied on this occasion.
