Who are the strong teams in this?

Clarenbridge, Liam Mellows, Eyecourt, Ballygar, Craughwell seem to be going the best looking at the groups.

As championship goes on danger that second teams would lose players which would help Ballygar.

Liam Mellows impressed this year again, but a lot will depend on how many players they lose, the same for craughwell . Ballygar seem to have a lot of talent and gave Breathnachs a beating last weekend, But I think Clarinbridge have the panel at the moment, they were strong last year but lost a few, but if they can keep key players from not playing Senior it would be hard to see past them.

Thats a great point puckmehard but I heard through the grapevine last night that the bridge lost 4 to the senior over the weekend this could be the grain of rice that tips the balance in mellows favour.

Pre-lim final draws was made last week
Satlhill V Balindereen
St Thomas v Tommy Larkins
Meelick V Craughwell
MB v TADm

Heard that SAtlhill were very good against Sars from locals in Blsoe on Tuesday so went to see them vMB in the stadium yesterday before Cashel and Mellows, MB dominated the game. Craughwell probably the strongest team that didn't top the group. Ballygar after the footabllers lost will only improve aswel, I would imagine we would see some of these prelim games played this weekend and the ones involving dual clubs played the following weekend, which is ahead of schedule compared to other years.Clarinbridge are the team to beat though

Thanks for that.
Is the quarter final an open draw than once prelims are over?
Clarenbridge and Mellows will probably lose some players to senior team. Athenry should be fairly strong also.

Breathnachs play Bearna Furbo in the Junior 1 final this weekend, I would think Bearna might have too much for MB, they drew at the start of the year, but Bearna have a few good hurlers.Winners will be playing in the Connacht Final which is a big carrot, but with MB footballers still in the Intermidiate id imagine theyre heads are else where.

Joke of a competition really the group games are played home and away with local refs, should be ran like a proper championship with neutral pitches and refs. The "draw" at the start of the year wont mean a lot that was nearly 7 months ago now.

Great win for Micheal Breathnachs in the Junior 1, Ronan boland the galway senior footballer was superb, he has some lep on him! MB much the better side, was impressed with the method they used, best of luck to them in the Connacht final, im sure it aint easy with the football going well aswel, but they are 60mins away from provincial success.

Tynagh and Meelick winning the Qfinal, was impressed by Tynagh and the Bridge some game!
