The Meehan brothers from Galway are set to feature on Laochra Gael.

The latest series of Laochra Gael comes to an end this Sunday with the final programme featuring the Meehan brothers of Galway.

The Meehans from Caltra in east Galway are one of the most famous footballing families in the history of the GAA.

Tomás and Declan won All-Ireland medals with Galway in 1998 and in 2001. With four other brothers, Seamus, Enda, Noel and Michael, they won the All-Ireland Club title in 2004, beating the mighty Gaeltacht in the final.

Viewers will hear their stories, with contributions also from John O'Mahony, Kevin Walsh, and Dara Ó Cinnéide.

Laochra Gael is broadcast on TG4 at 5.55pm on Sunday evening with a repeat showing on Monday evening at 8pm.
